Risks and Aquatic Environments Division
The prevention of natural risks, balanced resource management, restoration of aquatic environments, coastline management, climate change adaptation, crisis management, resilience all critical challenges are closely linked to the life and development of territories. These issues require strong, multidisciplinary technical expertise, ambition, transparency, as well as solid skills in communication, pedagogy, and knowledge transfer skills, to find fully-adapted solutions at various scales, oriented to local stakeholders. The Risks and Aquatic Environments department offers high-quality technical services and supports territories in their adaptation and sustainable development efforts.

Our Activity Sectors

Flood Risk Assessment and Management
Hazard assessment, identification of stakes, vulnerability diagnostics, development of Local Strategies and Prevention Action Plans, Cost/Benefit analyses, Multi-Criteria analyses, crisis management tools and guides, flood forecasting and alert systems, etc. These services are essential for understanding and managing the risks that affect territories. They enable decision-makers to implement effective measures to protect people, property, and the environment while promoting long-term sustainability.

Restoration of Aquatic Environments
Global or specific studies on restoring ecological and morphological continuity, studies related to the assessment of point-source and diffuse pollution impacts, studies on chemical and microbiological risks for drinking water supply, evaluation of cumulative effects on aquatic environments, swimming water quality studies, etc.

Safety of Hydraulic Structures
PROLOG INGENIERIE is accredited as an authorized participant for the safety of hydraulic structures in the category “Class C dams and levees – studies and diagnostics.” This accreditation was published by decree on 24/10/2018 in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

Coastal Risks
